FAQs
Do you accept insurance?
While we do not bill insurance companies directly, we fully support our patients who wish to use their insurance for reimbursement.
General process of how it works:
-Payment: You pay for your session at the time of the visit.
-Documentation: We provide you with a paid receipt and a filled insurance claim form containing all necessary details required by the insurance provider.
-Submission: You submit these documents to your insurance provider for reimbursement under your plan's out-of-network benefits.
How many sessions will I need to feel better?
We understand wanting to know what to expect. The number of sessions needed varies significantly from person to person, depending on the nature of your issue, its severity, how long you've had it, how compliant you are with the instructions, and how your body responds to care.
To give you an accurate and personalized care plan, we must first complete a physical examination and review your X-rays. This will allow us to provide you with a clear, tailored treatment plan, including an estimated number of sessions and goals for your recovery.
Do you treat "sciatica"?
Yes, the treatment of sciatica and related spinal misalignments is a core specialty of our practice. In fact, it's among the most frequent issues we help our clients manage every day.
Do you treat upper back pain?
Yes, we provide highly effective treatment for upper back pain. Helping patients find relief from this specific type of pain is a regular part of our daily practice.
Do you treat muscular pain tightness / strain?
Yes, we do. While acute muscle strains often heal on their own, persistent muscular pain (typically lasting more than 8 weeks) has an underlying cause. Our expertise lies in diagnosing whether chronic muscle tension, spasms, or pain are actually secondary to a primary issue such as vertebral misalignment. By identifying and treating this root cause, we can provide lasting relief for what may seem like a purely muscular problem.
Do you have pre-paid treatment packages?
Unfortunately, we don't have treatment packages.
Where do I do the required X-rays?
Our center will provide you with a referral to a nearby hospital following your initial examination. Once you have completed the X-rays, you can bring them on the second visit.
Do you offer home visit services?
Unfortunately, no. For clinical and safety reasons, we do not offer home visits. Effective assessment and treatment require specialized equipment that are fixed in our center. This allows us to perform precise and safe treatment.
Do you treat scoliosis?
Yes. However, treatment vary significantly based on the patient's age and skeletal maturity.
For Children (Ages 4-9): This is considered the optimal window for potentially reducing the progression of spinal curvature through conservative and non-invasive treatment.
For Adolescents & Adults: While reducing the abnormal curvatures becomes more difficult after skeletal maturity, our focus shifts to managing pain, improving mobility, correcting postural imbalances, and alleviating the muscle tightness and discomfort associated with scoliosis. We can help patients of all ages improve their function and quality of life.
How long will my treatment plan take?
Your treatment timeline is unique to you. The duration of care varies and is influenced by multiple factors:
Clinical Factors: Diagnosis, severity, and how long the issue has been present.
Treatment Compliance: Consistency with coming for scheduled sessions and following instructions.
Lifestyle Factors: Diet, physical activity, and stress management, which significantly impact the body's ability to heal.
Do you treat babies or infants?
For safety and clinical efficacy, we require that a child be independently walking before we can provide examination and treatment. The child reaching this developmental stage indicates a certain level of spinal and muscular maturity, allowing for a more standard and reliable assessment. For infants under this age, we recommend consulting with a pediatric specialist.
Do you treat stroke patients?
Unfortunately no. We offer limited support for associated pain or restricted movement, but this would only be appropriate with a referral from and coordination with your neurologist or rehabilitation specialist.
Can women be treated without exposing the skin?
Unfortunately, no. For us to perform precise spinal assessments and treatment, direct contact with the skin is necessary. This allows us to palpate correct landmarks and ensure the safety and effectiveness of each treatment. We respect your need for modesty. We provide gowns that exposes the required areas for examination and treatment.
Can I bring X-rays or MRIs from a previous test?
Yes, please bring any recent imaging studies (X-rays, MRIs, etc.) you have to your first appointment. Our specialist will review them as part of your initial assessment.
In majority of cases, new images may still be required to ensure we have the most accurate and current information for your treatment plan.
